• Cathedral: the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore was built between the 13th and 15th centuries in Gothic, Renaissance and Neo-Gothic styles thanks to the genius of artists such as Arnolfo di Cambio Filippo Brunelleschi, Andrea Pisano, Francesco Talenti and Giotto. With a three-nave interior, it boasts the largest masonry dome ever built (Brunelleschi’s Dome), the largest area decorated with frescoes (3,600 square metres by Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zuccari), Giotto’s 85-metre-high Bell Tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.
